DONATIONS:Pioneer Mr. Mumuye International Lauds Yorro Lawmaker for Supporting Students.

By Jako Keke,November 29,2025.
The Privilege Pioneer Mister Mumuye International, His Royal Highness Romanus Jachanbi Kassa, has applauded the Member Representing Yorro Constituency in the Taraba State House of Assembly, Hon. Joseph Kannong Kassong, for extending support to students of Yorro origin studying in various tertiary institutions in Jalingo.

HRH Kassa gave the commendation in an interview shortly after the lawmaker distributed relief materials to the students at the Arena Theatre of Taraba State University, Jalingo.

Expressing delight over the gesture, the traditional figure stated that his joy was immeasurable, noting that Hon. Kassong had embraced and acted upon the ideas he earlier proposed regarding the initiative. According to him, the development was a demonstration of the legislator’s openness and willingness to adopt constructive advice for the benefit of the people.

Kassa described Hon. Kassong as a leader who gives listening ears, adding that the distribution of relief materials— which benefited over 200 students from Yorro Local Government Area— was a practical translation of shared ideas into tangible impact.

He urged other lawmakers in the state to emulate the gesture, especially in a period when many families are grappling with economic hardship. Supporting students, he said, remains a critical intervention in safeguarding the future of the younger generation.

The Pioneer Mister Mumuye International further disclosed that he had initiated discussions with other political figures from Yorro to encourage similar initiatives, including scholarship opportunities aimed at cushioning the financial burden on students.

He emphasized that any effort directed towards supporting the education of young people is an investment in the future leadership of the community and the state at large.

“Supporting humanity in a critical time like this shows that our legislators have genuine regard for the welfare of the people,” he added.

Kurmi on the Brink: Why Silence Now Could Spell Disaster

By The Nigerian Newspointer Editorial Board In the quiet hills and lush forests of Kurmi Local Government Area of Taraba State, an uneasy wind is blowing. Farmers and herders once lived in uneasy but manageable coexistence until land sales, unchecked settlements, and political silence turned simple disputes into ethnic conflagrations. The echoes of those past crises are now knock...
