‎Taraba State University (TSU) Jalingo is witnessing a remarkable transformation under the leadership of its Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Paul Bako, whose administration is redefining the institution’s academic, sporting, and infrastructural landscape.

‎Prof. Bako, described as a forward-thinking and innovative leader, has continued to introduce strategic reforms aimed at positioning TSU among the top-ranking universities in Nigeria.

‎One of the landmark projects of his tenure is the completion of a modern gymnasium hall, fully equipped with facilities for indoor sporting activities such as table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, chess, scrabble, snooker, and gymnastics. The facility is expected to promote wellness, teamwork, and healthy competition among staff and students.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area.
