Taraba State Government establishes a Resource Centre for the training of Civil servants.

Taraba State Head of Civil Service Mr. Paul Maigida Tino says a resource center has been established to train and retrain civil servants.

Paul Maigida Tino disclosed this while declaring open the Joint Public Service Negotiating Council Trade Union side Election in Jalingo.

The Head of Civil Service said with the establishment of the centre civil servants can now undergo the needed capacity building to contribute positively as technocrats in the state.

Paul Commended the existing cordial working relationship between the state and organized labour and sued for its sustenance.

He Congratulated the leadership of the Joint Public Service Negotiating Council Trade Union Side for the crucial roles play leading to the implementation of Minimum Wage in the state.

Speaking the National Chairman Joint Public Service Negotiating Council Trade Union Side, Comrade Benjamin Anthony said the leaders elected should see their emergence as a call to service with collective responsibilities tainted with collective bargaining tenents devoid of mistrust and suspicion in their relationship with Government side.

The Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress,NLC Taraba State Council, Comrade Peter Jediel and Chairman Trade Union Council,TUC Comrade Prince Sule Abasu both sued for unity among members of organised labour in Taraba State.

They appreciated the Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas for the implementation of National minimum wage for workers describing him as a Labour Friendly leader.

TARABA: Jenjo Youth Wing Disowns Magaji Gago’s Alleged Remarks Against Kefas, Reaffirms Loyalty.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire.
