Mantau: Yorro Community must unite in the interest of progress -Kpan Sanwi Chiefdom HRH Haniel.

The Yorro community members have been asked to unite in the interest of Mumuye Nation progress.

The Kpan Sanwi Pastor Haniel Banti made the call during the twenty twenty four Mantau a Post-Hunting Festival in Jalingo.

The Royal father remarked that the Yorro community have all it takes to excel as God has blessed it with both human and Natural Resources.

The Kpan Sanwi remarked that the Yandang Ethnic is Part of Yorro Community in Taraba State and will continue to support initiatives aim at the development and progress of Mumuye Nation.

The Former Governor of Taraba State,the Dabang Yorro Jolly Nyame while commending the organisers of the event, revealed that Yorro Community University will soon be established in Mumuye land.

He said the Mumuye Nation now boosting of eighteen Professors in different academic fields and numerous associates professors and Doctorate Degree holders has all it takes to man the University once it came into fruition.

He encouraged the Mumuye sons and daughters to leverage their population in the country to garnered support to build a prosperous Mumuye Nation.

The Dabang Yorro thanked God for his blessings to the Mumuye Nation,and urged the Mumuye people to remain united in the interest of development.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire.
