Mantau Festival: Comrade Ezekiel Hammangbado Augustine National President MCDAYW appreciated God's faithfulness to Mumuye Nation.


Mantau Festival a Post-Hunting ceremony is said to be a commemoration of successes recorded by Mumuye Nation.

President Mumuye Cultural Development Association Youth Wing Ezekiel Hammangbado Augustine said this during the twenty twenty four Mantau Festival at Mumuye House Mile Six Jalingo.

Ezekiel remarked that the leadership of Mumuye Nation deem it fit to celebrate God's blessing to Mumuye ethnic group in diverse ways of life.

Recalled that in the pastor there were a few number of Mumuye sons and daughters who acquired degree,but that today Mumuye Nation now boost having eighteen Professors,Generals in military service, lawyers,media gurus, Prominent Politicians,permanent Secretaries among others.

He encouraged Mumuye sons and daughters to continue to appreciate God's faithfulness and be diligent in all they do.

Speaking, Professor Jerome Nyame said the celebration of Mantau festival is a wake up call to all Mumuye sons and daughters not to relent in making exploit to excel in their life endeavours.

Jerome Nyame appreciated efforts of Mumuye elites for ensuring they enroll their wards to schools to acquire western Education as it has yielded positive results in Mumuye Nation.


The National President of Mumuye Cultural Development Association MCDA Doctor Abraham Makoso represented by the association's Public Relations Officer Anthony Yaro said the Mantau festival commemoration came at a right time,as it is always good to express gratitude to God.

He sued for united among the Members of Mumuye ethnic groups to enable record more successes in the country.

The event featured launching of Shonzen Bonsewe Foundation, hanging of baton on Laaye by Excelling Mumuye sons and daughters, cultural dances among others.

The Permanent Secretary TSBS Jalingo Comrade David Nyah was among the celebrated Mumuye Nation excelling sons and daughters at the event.
