HONOR: Gen Faransa Rtd investiture as Grand Patron of Boy's Brigade Nigeria Jalingo Battalion Council.

Retired General Jeremiah Aliyu Faransa Chairman Taraba State Internal Revenue Service has been investitured as the Grand Patron of Jalingo Battalion Council of Boy's Brigade.

The Investiture ceremony took place at Christ Anglican Church Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Speaking at the event the Chairman Jalingo Battalion Council Mr Lawrence Maikarfi said the event which culminated with a retreat for Companies Patrons is aimed at promoting the development of the council.

He Congratulated the Grand Patron Retired General Jeremiah Aliyu Faransa on his well deserved appointment and investiture.

The Chairman applauded the patrons for availing themselves for the training and urged them to replicate the knowledge acquired at the local level.

Responding the Grand Patron of Jalingo Battalion Council of the Boy's Brigade Retired General Jeremiah Aliyu Faransa appreciated the leadership of JBC for finding him worthy of the position.

He pledged to bring in innovation to build the younger generation in the council to succeed in life.

The grand Patron who Expressed concern over the increasing cases of drug and Substance abuse by youths said under his watch a sensitization program will be organized for youths in that regard.

Earlier the facilitators at the event,Mrs Maria Dabo and Rev Levi Simon Ishaku encouraged the patrons to be dedicated and committed in rendering their services as role models to the younger generation in Boy's Brigade.

Some personalities including the Outgone chairman Patron's Forum,JBC Isaac Mela and Mr Sale Nwunuji Kaka Chairman Organizing Committee Twenty twenty four retreat spoke at the event.

The Boy's Brigade, Nigeria Jalingo Battalion Council twenty twenty four retreat has the theme ' Equipping the Boy for Faithful Service.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area.
