Aspirant For the People's Democratic Party PDP Youth Leader Hon Silas Tafi-Warwar has Congratulated Distinguished Senators Adolphus Wabara and Ahmed Makarfi on their Appointments to PDP Board of Trustees(BoT)

The Youth leader aspirant in a statement made available to newsmen says the appointments of Senator Wabara as Chairman and Senator Makarfi as the Secretary of the BOT was apt.

It says their elevations to these pivotal roles within the PDP herald a new era of strategic leadership and vision within our party.

The statement adds that their proven dedication to public service, unwavering commitment to the ideals of democracy, and vast experiences in governance make them exemplary choices for these significant responsibilities.

The statement read "I commend our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for its astute selection of these two distinguished individuals and I have very strong confidence that under their leadership & guidance, the party will continue to thrive and uphold its core values".

The statement wished the Senators, Adolphus Wabara and Ahmed Makarfi all the best in their new roles and Party loyalists look forward to witnessing the positive impact they will undoubtedly have on the PDP and the nation as a whole.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire.
