Insecurity: Ex Gov Jolly Nyame calls for empowerment of peasant farmers to address hunger.


Former Governor of Taraba State Reverend Jolly Nyame has lamented the rising insecurity and hardship in the country.

The Former Governor made the lamentation while paying homage to the Gara Donga, Ambassador, Sanvala Varzoa Shimbura in Donga Local Government Area.
He said though the situation is not just peculiar to Taraba State but the entire nation called for concerted efforts by the governments at all levels to proffer solutions to the menace.

The Former Governor who said he was in the palace to Congratulate the Gara Donga on his emergence and subsequent enthronement as the paramount ruler said he was also at the palace to condole with the Traditional council over the death of  former Gara Danjuma Stephen Bayonga.

He reminded the Royal Father that he ascended the throne when there are numerous challenges to contend with, urging him to work hard with a view to taking good care of his subjects.

Jolly  urged Tarabans to continue to support the leadership of the present Government to  enable it succeed in executing laudable projects.

Responding the Gara Donga His Royal Highness, Ambassador Sanvala Varzoa Shimbura said the Chiefdom will continued to appreciate the former Governor Reverend Jolly Nyame for upgrading it to first class status.

The Royal Father  lauded the former Governor for the show of love, saying his predecessor late Danjuma Stephen Bayonga during his reign always mentioned the good works of Jolly Nyame to the Chiefdom.

He appealed to the Former Governor Reverend Jolly Nyame to embrace all and even forgive those who aided his incarceration.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.
