Honorable Munir Adamu Kofi has emerged flagbearer of Action Alliance for Jalingo, Yorro and Zing federal constituency.

He was declared by the secretary Electoral committee of the party during its primaries in Jalingo.

Announcing the results Secretary of the Electoral committee Mr Auwal Idris said Munir Adamu Kofi polled fifty one votes to emerged winner to contest the bye Election scheduled for February third twenty twenty four.

Eailer in his address the Chairman Action Alliance ,AA Taraba State Chapter Sadiq Abdullahi Sahabi urged party members to prioritize the interest of developing the state.

He said the party is committed to providing good dividends of democracy to the constituents if given the Mandate during the bye Election.

In an interview,the flagbearer of the party, Honorable Munir Adamu Kofi promised to provide job opportunities for youths of Jalingo Yorro Zing federal constituency to enable them contribute towards nation building.

Honorable Munir also pledged to address the insecurity bedeviling the constituency to enable constituents run their Businesses peacefully.

He appreciated the leadership of the party for the peaceful conduct of the primary election.

The Event featured the presentation of the party's flag to the candidate and Award by the Munir Youths Support Group.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
