Business: Manager Tita-Kuru Food Processing Company Jalingo, Elder Emmanuel N Zebedee bags award of Excellence.

Manager Tita-Kuru Food Processing Company, Jalingo Elder Emmanuel N Zebedee has been conferred with the title as  the Sardauna Matasan Arewa.

The Manager was also presented with an Award of Excellence by the Arewa Youth Consultative Council,AYCC in Jalingo.

The ceremony which was held st the Conference hall of Tita-Kuru Food processing Company Jalingo has well wishers and family of the Celebrant in attendance.

Speaking at the event,the National President Arewa Youth Consultative Council AYCC Comrade Bashir Yakubu said the Celebrant has distinguished himself among many in the society in touching lives positively hence his choice to be honored and encouraged to keep doing the good work.

According to him the award presentation, investiture and medal is in recognition of his philanthropic gesture to youths and the people in the Taraba.

Bashir Yakubu Congratulated the Celebrant on his well deserved recognition and urged to continue to do good as his good work will continue to speak for him.

Comrade Yakubu however described the awardee as a humble gentleman who is bent on rendering selfless service and dedicated servant of God.

Earlier,the Secretary-General of the Arewa Youth Consultative Council ,AYCC Comrade Alhaji Mohammed Garba Said AYCC is a Socio-Political organization whose main objective is to contribute to the socio economic development of the Northern region through robust and cerebral engagement on burning issues.

Comrade Garba remarked that as a Youth organization,the AYCC with membership across different tribes and religions,it work with youths to promote national unity through regular seminars, workshops among others.

Alhaji Mohammed Garba mentioned one of the feats of the Arewa Youth Consultative Council AYCC in fostering unity to include the signing of peace pact at the Arewa House in Kaduna State before twenty fifteen General Elections between the Ijaw Youths Council,Afenniferi Youth Wing,the Ohanaeze Youth and the AYCC to accept the outcome of the then presidential Elections in the interest of progress.

He added that Nigerian youths and the National Youth Development have a significant role to play in the development of the society, stressing that until this role is recognized in Nigeria,the Youth could become vulnerable to social vices.

 The Secretary-General while congratulating the awardee,said AYCC award was conceived as a befitting gesture of honour to worthy individuals,whose attainments in life, socially, economically, politically among others have brought fame , honor and respect not only to the North but also the whole country.

Alhaji Mohammed reminded the awardee that his life has always been that of positive purposes towards the emancipation of justice that was why the Arewa Youth Consultative Council AYCC leadership who oversees the nineteen Northern States of the Federation picked him to be conferred with the title of Sardauna Matasan Arewa.

Responding,the awardee Elder Emmanuel N Zebedee,the Manager Tita-Kuru Food Processing Company Jalingo appreciated God for the gift of life and family and the Arewa Youth Consultative Council AYCC for finding him worthy to be conferred as the Sardauna Matasan Arewa as well as presented with an Award of Excellence.

Emmanuel said he never knew that the people were recording the little services he offered to humanity saying the recognition will spur him to do more.

The Manager reiterated his resolved to continue to touch lives positively in his little way at all times and appreciated those who graced the event for the show of love.

The citation for Elder Emmanuel N Zebedee read indicated that he was born on July 12,1987 from the family of Late Mr Emmanuel and Mrs Dorathy Zebedee from Donga Local Government Area of Taraba State. He hails from Nyita Village and had demonstrated exceptional achievements in the field of laboratory research and food processing that is technically based.
Emmanuel earned a Master's Degree in Food Microbiology from the University of Nigeria,Nsukka. He was a Chief Microbiologist in the Quality and Sanitation Department at the Taraba State Water Supply Agency between 2017-2020.
The Celebrant is the Head of Quality and Production Manager Tita-Kuru Food Processing Company Jalingo since 2020.
 He has beyond his professional accomplishments, Elder Emmanuel N Zebedee is celebrated as a philanthropist,his notable feats includes securing a transformer with the assistance of Gen. TY Danjuma, payment of school fees for children from underprivileged parents, provision potable water source for Community in Jauro Yinu among others.

Zebedee is widely recognized for his generosity and hospitality, making him a valuable asset to the business, Academic and the community he serves.

INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State.  A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week. The statement adds that the culprits were captured during a raid at a local hotel in Mayo Dassa area of Jalingo metropolis where they were hiding.  It adds that Further investigations led to the discovery that the gang's hideout was at Kona Mountain in Jalingo , where additional members of the syndicate were believed to be camped. RELIGION: UMC-N Bishop Ande Emmanuel decries continual tensions,calls on Gov.Agbu to waive into the matter.

The Resident Bishop United Methodist Church Nigeria  Episcopal Area, Ande Emmanuel has decried continual tensions impacting the church in Nigeria. The Bishop, in a Press briefing in Jalingo, condemned any act of violence or disrespect to the church, referencing the attack at Banyan Theological Seminary in the Bambur Community of Karim Lamido Local government area. He remarked that the Seminary established in 1946 by the United Methodist Church agencies and donors has been manned by the church and has continued to fund the Seminary that has trained many clergy of the UMC, including him.
