Reports from Pupule Community of Yorro Local Government of Taraba State says, the second class Chief of Kwajji, Umaru Abubakar Nyala and sixteen others have been kidnapped. They were picked by a heavily armed gun men suspected to be kidnappers who invaded the village at about two o'clock in the morning shooting sporadically in different parts of the village. Among the seventeen people kidnapped is a pregnant woman, people of same family and the son of the third class Chief and his orderly. This is the third time kidnapping for ransom happened in the village in less than six months. Speaking a resident of the area who preferred not be named said the gunmen invaded the area and kidnapped twenty one people including the chief of Kwajji. He added that a police officer attached to Pupule police outpost and some christian Clergies who came for burial in the area were also abducted.
