Security: Chief of Kwajji Umaru Nyala,others kidnapped in Pupule.

Reports from Pupule Community of Yorro Local Government of Taraba State says, the second class Chief of Kwajji, Umaru Abubakar Nyala and sixteen others have been kidnapped. They were picked by a heavily armed gun men suspected to be kidnappers who invaded the village at about two o'clock in the morning shooting sporadically in different parts of the village. Among the seventeen people kidnapped is a pregnant woman, people of same family and the son of the third class Chief and his orderly. This is the third time kidnapping for ransom happened in the village in less than six months. Speaking a resident of the area who preferred not be named said the gunmen invaded the area and kidnapped twenty one people including the chief of Kwajji. He added that a police officer attached to Pupule police outpost and some christian Clergies who came for burial in the area were also abducted. Culture: Kambu race calls for unity and progress to thrive.

Chairman Caretaker Committee of Kambu Cultural Development Association, Rtd. Col. A. N. Adamu (Shettima Mambilla) said unity remains the cornerstone of progress in every society. Col. Abdulkarim Adamu said this during the Thanksgiving and reunion ceremony of the association in Jalingo. TRS Commissioner of Police CP Joseph Eribo visits Press Centre in Jalingo.

Keke Jako, Jalingo. Taraba State Commissioner of Police  CP, Joseph Eribo said Journalists are critical stakeholders in the fight against crime and criminalities in the state. The CP stated this while he visited the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Taraba State Council at the Press Centre, Jalingo. CP Joseph Eribo Said the purpose of his visit is to seek partnership with the Journalists for excellent performance. The Commissioner of Police remarked that in executing its responsibilities as law enforcers he believes Journalists will aid in accomplishing the duties in no small measure.
