Obadiah Ando's Committee submits Report to Doctor Agbu Kefas.
The committee Saddled with the responsibility of streamlining Ministries, Boards and Parastatals has submitted its report to the Taraba State Governor Doctor Agbu kefas.
Receiving the report at the Government House Jalingo, the governor expressed satisfaction with the committee work and promised to implement it.
Agbu kefas said the committee has done well and assured that the he will not drift from the report.
On training of senior civil servants which the committee recommended the Governor said that his Government will prioritize the training and retraining of civil servants to achieve better results.
The Governor noted that his administration inherited a lot of challenges that he has to surmount.
The Governor remarked that he set up the committee to correct wrongs in the system and assured that there is going to be a white paper on the implementations.
He commended the committee for the pains taken efforts to deliver on the mandate given to them.
Presenting the report chairman of the committee, Obadiah Ando briefed the governor on the challenges encountered at the course of their assignment.
He said the report is divided into four volumes containing details of how ministries should be streamlined stating that office of the head of service have no business in the payment of salaries.
The committee chairman called for refreshers course for top government staff in the state to ensure productivity.
