Executive Secretary Taraba State Mass Education Board Mr Obadiah Andrew Agbu said its

Literacy skills programs cut across all boards.

Mr Obadiah Andrew Agbu in an interview said the board has engaged deaf and dumb as well as lame and crippled in its program to give them needed skills that will aid their quota the development of the state.

According to him the resilience shown by the Deaf and Dumb Students in acquiring Education is encouraging.

The Executive Secretary they will continue to impact knowledge to masses to be literate and productive in the society.

Obadiah commended the North East Development Commission head of Operations Joshua Sangari for visiting the Adult and Skills acquisition centre headquarters Jalingo.

He said during the fact finding visit the Head of Operations Joshua urged the trainees st the centre to take their studies seriously.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire.
