Taraba state officials of ANAN inaugurated in Jalingo.

Newly elected officials of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN, Taraba State branch have been inaugurated.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Taraba State Board of Internal Revenue conference Hall, Jalingo.

The officials have Umar Abdullahi Baba as the new chairman.

Others include, Haziel Bala Vice Chairman, Shedrach Mamman Akyaras Secretary, Deborah Kashibu, Assistant Secretary, Abubakar Muhammed, Treasurer, Ande Gambo Financial Secretary, Malikah Moham Kohli, PRO while Ephraim Tonga and Hajiya Kaltume are to serve as Ex-officio one and two respectively.

Speaking, the chairman Electoral committee, Mr.Toyin Richard commended the peaceful conduct of the election.

He urged the new executives to carried every member along in the discharge of their responsibilities for the development of the Association.

In his inaugural speech, the chairman, Umar Abdullahi Baba thanked members for having confidence on them and sued for more support to move the association forward.

Earlier, the outgone chairman, Ephraim Tonga who expressed joy thanked members for their cooperation during his two tenures in steering the affairs of the association.

He said the association has achieved a lot during his tenure, adding that he was able to acquired a permanent plot land and foundation work had been completed.
