The President of the Reformed Church of Christ for Nations (RCCN), Reverend Bulus Yerima, has described the late Reverend Zachariah Andepam as a true promoter of the gospel who dedicated his life to the service of God and humanity.

Reverend Yerima made the remark during a Service of Songs held in honour of the former Vice President of RCCN at RCCN No. 7, Roadblock, Jalingo.

He described the late cleric as a gentle, humble, trustworthy and dedicated servant of God who served the church faithfully and contributed significantly to the growth and expansion of RCCN in Nigeria and beyond.

The RCCN President, while condoling the church over the loss, noted that the deceased was widely known for standing firmly for the truth and upholding the values of the church at all times.

He expressed hope that God would raise another leader to fill the vacuum created by the death of the respected clergyman.

Speaking on behalf of the family, a retired Justice, Ali Ibrahim Andeyatso, who is the immediate younger brother of the deceased, said the late Reverend Andepam lived a fulfilled life devoted to the service of God and humanity.

Justice Andeyatso described the death of his brother as a painful loss to the family, but noted that the legacies he left behind serve as a source of comfort and encouragement to remain steadfast in faith.

He expressed appreciation to friends, church members and well-wishers for identifying with the family during their moment of grief.

In a short exhortation, the Vice Chairman of the RCCN Board of Trustees (BOT), Reverend Captain Joseph Rika, reminded believers that there is hope beyond death.

Drawing his message from the Bible, particularly the book of John Chapter 11, Reverend Rika emphasized that God assures believers that those who live in Christ will live forever, even after their physical death.

He noted that the late Reverend Andepam lived a fulfilled life in the service of God and humanity and prayed for the repose of his soul.

The Service of Songs was attended by members of RCCN Magami Jalingo District Church (MJDCC), friends, family members and sympathizers.
