POLITICS: Solomon Congratulates Gov. Agbu Kefas, APC Over Successful State Congress.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, Hon. Steve Innocent Solomon, has congratulated Governor and members of the (APC) in the state over what he described as the successful and transparent conduct of the party’s state congress.

In a congratulatory message addressed to the Governor and the party faithful, Solomon commended the leadership of the party for upholding internal democracy and fostering unity throughout the congress process. He noted that the peaceful and orderly exercise reflects the party’s commitment to strengthening its structures and promoting inclusiveness.

The APC stalwart specifically lauded the newly elected members of the State Executive Committee, expressing confidence in their capacity to steer the affairs of the party effectively. He prayed for wisdom and success for the new executives, urging them to work towards deepening unity and consolidating the party’s gains across Taraba State.

According to Solomon, the outcome of the congress demonstrates the maturity of the party and its readiness to continue playing a pivotal role in the political development of the state. He described the APC as a “great party” and reaffirmed his pride in being associated with it.

The statement further emphasized the need for sustained cooperation among party leaders and members to build on the achievements recorded so far. Solomon expressed optimism that under the leadership of Governor Kefas and the newly inaugurated state executives, the party would witness greater progress and cohesion.

The APC state congress is a critical internal process aimed at electing officials to manage the party’s affairs at the state level and prepare it for future political engagements.

TARABA: Jenjo Youth Wing Disowns Magaji Gago’s Alleged Remarks Against Kefas, Reaffirms Loyalty.

The leadership of the Jenjo Youth Wing has publicly distanced itself from alleged remarks credited to Mr. Magaji Bulus Gago, popularly known as Max B, against Taraba State Governor, , and the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, . INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
