INAUGURATION: Zing LG Chairman Attends Induction of Northern Christian Leaders Assembly Officials.

The Executive Chairman of Zing Local Government Area, Hon. Davoro K. Titus, has attended the induction and investiture ceremony of officials of the Northern Christian Leaders Assembly in Zing.

The ceremony, which took place at the United Methodist Church (UMC) No. 1, Zing, marked the formal inauguration of the local government branch of the assembly.

The event was witnessed by the State Chairman of the assembly, Rev. Dr. Philip Micah Dopah, alongside church leaders and members of the Christian community in the area.

During the ceremony, Pastor and Comrade Jordan Matthew was formally inaugurated as the Zing Local Government Coordinator of the assembly, alongside other officials who were sworn in to pilot the affairs of the organization at the local level

Speaking at the event, Hon. Titus congratulated the newly inaugurated officials and urged them to work diligently to strengthen the organization and make meaningful contributions to the Christian community.

He also encouraged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by promoting unity, leadership and service within the assembly.

The ceremony attracted religious leaders, community members and supporters who gathered to witness the formal establishment of the assembly’s leadership in Zing Local Government Area.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. TARABA: Jenjo Youth Wing Disowns Magaji Gago’s Alleged Remarks Against Kefas, Reaffirms Loyalty.

The leadership of the Jenjo Youth Wing has publicly distanced itself from alleged remarks credited to Mr. Magaji Bulus Gago, popularly known as Max B, against Taraba State Governor, , and the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, . INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
