EID EL FITR:Tula Felicitates Muslims on Ramadan, Eid-el-Fitr, Reaffirms Commitment to Quality Representation.

An aspirant for the Ardo Kola, Karim Lamido and Lau Federal Constituency, Hon. Meshach Godwin Tula, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

In a press statement issued on Friday, Hon. Tula described Ramadan as a sacred period ordained by Allah to strengthen faith, promote self-discipline and encourage compassion among adherents.

He noted that fasting, one of the core pillars of Islam, serves as a spiritual exercise that brings believers closer to God while instilling values of sacrifice, humility and obedience.

The federal constituency hopeful commended Muslims for their steadfastness, devotion and commitment throughout the holy month, stressing that such virtues are vital for fostering peace, unity and societal progress.

Hon. Tula also extended his congratulations to the Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, and other government officials for the successful observance of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, urging them to sustain policies that promote unity and development across the state.

Reaffirming his political ambition, the aspirant assured constituents of his readiness to provide purposeful and effective representation anchored on transparency, inclusiveness and good governance if elected.

He further called on the people of Ardo Kola, Karim Lamido and Lau Federal Constituency to support his aspiration, which he said is driven by a genuine desire to improve their welfare and attract meaningful development to the area.

Hon. Tula, however, wished Muslims in Taraba State, particularly those in Karim Lamido, Ardo Kola and Lau Local Government Areas, a peaceful, joyous and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

TARABA: Jenjo Youth Wing Disowns Magaji Gago’s Alleged Remarks Against Kefas, Reaffirms Loyalty.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
