The Taraba State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Jalingo, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful in Taraba State and across the country on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a goodwill message issued by the Provost on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, staff and students, the institution congratulated the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, his Deputy, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali, as well as members of the State Executive Council, the Legislature, Judiciary and the entire Muslim Ummah on the joyous occasion.
The statement was signed by the Registrar of the College, Bala Christopher Adamu, on behalf of the management.
The Provost described Eid-el-Fitr as a significant spiritual milestone that marks the end of Ramadan, noting that the period provides an opportunity for deep reflection, gratitude and renewed commitment to the values of peace, unity, sacrifice and compassion.
She expressed optimism that the lessons of Ramadan would continue to guide adherents towards fostering harmony and strengthening communal bonds in the state.
The message also offered prayers for Allah’s acceptance of the fasting, prayers and sacrifices observed during the holy month, while seeking divine blessings for sustained peace, progress and prosperity in Taraba State.
The Provost further called on citizens to sustain the virtues of tolerance, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence as a pathway to the continued growth and development of the state.
