APPOINTMENT: Kefas Appoints Useni as Managing Director of Taraba Investment & Properties.

The Governor of Agbu Kefas has approved the appointment of Jibril N. Useni as the substantive Managing Director of Taraba Investment & Properties Limited.

The appointment was announced in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Timothy Kataps, on Thursday.

Before his appointment, Useni served as the Principal Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Jibril & Co., a firm of Chartered Accountants, where he built a reputation for professional excellence and financial management.

Useni holds several professional qualifications including Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Chartered Tax Practitioner and Administrator with the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI), and Master of Business Administration (MBA).

He is also a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), and the Institute of Forensic Accountants of Nigeria.

According to the statement, Useni is expected to bring his vast professional experience to strengthen the operations of the state-owned investment company and support the investment drive of the current administration.

The appointment takes immediate effect.

TARABA: Jenjo Youth Wing Disowns Magaji Gago’s Alleged Remarks Against Kefas, Reaffirms Loyalty.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
