The Headquarters of 6 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Jalingo, has announced plans to conduct its second Bi-Annual Combined Route March on Friday, 29 August 2025.
According to a statement signed by Lieutenant Umar Muhammad, Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, the exercise will be held in collaboration with other security agencies within the Jalingo metropolis.
The 15-kilometre march, the statement explained, is in line with the Nigerian Army’s Forecast of Events and Training Directive for 2025. It is aimed at improving the operational readiness, physical fitness, resilience, morale, and general preparedness of troops for operational tasks.
Residents of Jalingo and its environs have been urged not to panic during the exercise but to go about their normal activities, as the route march is a routine military training activity.
