BIRTHDAY: Chairman of Zing LGC Hon Davoro honors Taraba Speaker RT Hon Bonzena on his birth anniversary.

The Executive Chairman of Zing Local Government Council, Hon Evangelist Prince Davoro Titus Gwandis JP, on behalf of the good people of Zing local government area, wishes to rejoice with the Speaker, Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt Hon John Kizito Bonzena, on his birthday anniversary.

The Chairman in a statement described the Speaker as a passionate leader who is committed to serving humanity wholeheartedly and wished him a fruitful year.
Hon Davoro Gwandis JP recognizes the good works of the Legislator who represents the good of Zing Constituency in the area of infrastructure, human development, education, and health and pledged the continued support of the people of Zing to enable him to succeed.
The Council Boss urged the Celebrant, the speaker RT Hon John Kizito Bonzena, to continue his good work not only for the people of Zing Constituency but the State at large as he pilots the leadership of the State House of Assembly.

The Chairman expressed the hope that the new age will bring good tidings in the life of the Celebrant, his family, and the state and wished him a joyous birthday celebration.

INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week. The statement adds that the culprits were captured during a raid at a local hotel in Mayo Dassa area of Jalingo metropolis where they were hiding. RELIGION: UMC-N Bishop Ande Emmanuel decries continual tensions,calls on Gov.Agbu to waive into the matter.

The Resident Bishop United Methodist Church Nigeria Episcopal Area, Ande Emmanuel has decried continual tensions impacting the church in Nigeria. The Bishop, in a Press briefing in Jalingo, condemned any act of violence or disrespect to the church, referencing the attack at Banyan Theological Seminary in the Bambur Community of Karim Lamido Local government area. He remarked that the Seminary established in 1946 by the United Methodist Church agencies and donors has been manned by the church and has continued to fund the Seminary that has trained many clergy of the UMC, including him.
