POLITICS: Elders warned Falack to steer clear of the PDP.

The People's Democratic Party Elders Forum has warned the victor Falack faction to steer clear of the party in Taraba State.

Chairman of the forum Elder John Mamman,who was speaking in a briefing in Jalingo accused Victor Falack of trying to make a moul out of nothing.

He pointed out that since nineteen ninety nine the People's Democratic Party has no faction and wondered the present State of affairs.

The Chairman, maintained that the said faction position is a disrespect to the PDP family and to the people of Taraba State.

Elder Mamman,posited that no one will come with a fake mandate to take over the PDP.

He emphasized that the Taraba State PDP will not entertain any faction because those on board are fully elected by members of the PDP maintaining that those hand picked have no base.

The Chairman called on law enforcement agencies to track those who want to undermine the peace of Taraba State.

Elder Mamman, averred that the PDP remains a force to be reckoned with as no party can beat it.

On the position of those that have defected,he said there is no cause for alarm because the structure of the party is intact.

He called on party members to fully support the leadership of Comrade Obidah Bitrus.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area.
