VISIT:CAN Jalingo Leadership Pays Solidarity Visit to Gov’s Aide, Plans Ministers’ Prayer Conference.

The Special Adviser to the Taraba State Governor on Christian Religion Matters, Very Rev. Fr. Sunday Patrick Muke, has received the newly inaugurated leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Jalingo Local Government Area, during a courtesy and solidarity visit at his office in TY Danjuma House, Jalingo.
The delegation, led by the CAN Jalingo LGA Chairman, Rev. Dr. Dimas Sarki, met with the Special Adviser to strengthen collaboration and discuss issues affecting the Christian community and the wider society.
Speaking during the meeting, Fr. Muke said discussions centered on the forthcoming Church Ministers’ Prayer Conference scheduled to hold in Jalingo. He described the conference as a significant platform for pastors and church leaders across the LGA to unite in prayer for the peace, progress, and wellbeing of the community.
He commended the new CAN leadership for its commitment to fostering Christian unity and harmony among denominations, noting that such cooperation is vital for social stability and development.
The Special Adviser reaffirmed the state government’s support for peace-building efforts and collaborative initiatives that promote unity and mutual understanding among residents of Jalingo Local Government Area.
The visit forms part of ongoing engagements between religious bodies and government representatives aimed at strengthening partnerships for community development.
