By our Judicial Correspondent.
The Commandant of the Taraba Marshal Security Guards, Retired Commissioner of Police Agyole Abeh, has commended Governor Agbu Kefas for his unwavering support to the command, describing it as a major boost to security operations across the state.

Abeh made the commendation in an interview with our Judicial Correspondent, noting that the donation of patrol vehicles and motorcycles by the state government has significantly enhanced the operational capacity of the Taraba Marshal.

According to him, the governor’s support has enabled officers of the command deployed across the state’s sixteen local government areas to effectively complement efforts aimed at curbing crime and maintaining public order.

The Commandant stated that the Taraba Marshal has continued to record successes in crime containment due to improved logistics and strategic deployment of personnel to both urban and rural communities.

Commenting on the relationship between the Taraba Marshal and other security agencies in the state, Abeh said the collaboration has remained cordial, describing it as vital to the overall security framework of Taraba State.

He applauded officers of the command for their proactiveness, discipline and dedication to duty, urging them to remain steadfast and continue to uphold the mandate of the organisation.

Abeh also commended traditional rulers across the state, whom he described as key stakeholders in grassroots security, for their cooperation and support to Marshal officers posted to their domains.

He revealed that the command has established about twenty-one operational camps in interior parts of the state to enhance surveillance and ensure rapid response to security threats.

The Commandant, however, stressed the need for residents of Taraba State to provide timely and useful information to officers of the Taraba Marshal, noting that intelligence from the public remains critical to effective security service delivery.
