The projects inaugurated include the Bekaji Roundabout underpass, the expanded Bank Road network, and a permanent orientation camp for the National Youth Service Corps located in Malkohi. The President said the projects reflect a strong commitment to improving public service delivery, boosting mobility, and strengthening critical state institutions.
Speaking at the Government House in Yola, Tinubu commended the governor for what he described as visible and measurable progress across the state capital, noting that the new infrastructure goes beyond aesthetics to stimulate economic activities and improve the quality of life for residents. He said modern infrastructure remains central to national growth and regional competitiveness.
The President also praised the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, for ongoing efforts to tackle insecurity, urging sustained determination and strategic coordination among security agencies. He called on governors across the North-East region to deepen collaboration and present a united front against security threats.
Tinubu further acknowledged the role of religious leaders, traditional rulers, and security personnel in supporting peace and development initiatives, stressing that inclusive cooperation among stakeholders is essential for sustainable progress and stability in the region.
