POLITICS: APC Leaders Urge Unity as Zing LG Congress Holds Peacefully.

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zing Local Government Area have been urged to rally behind their leaders to ensure the continued growth and success of the party at the grassroots.

The Chairman of Zing Local Government Council, Hon. Prince Evangelist Davoro Titus Gwandis, JP, made the call during the party’s Local Government Congress held in Zing.
 He congratulated the newly elected officials and emphasized that with collective support and cooperation, the new executives would succeed in strengthening the party’s structures across the area.

Gwandis noted that unity and loyalty among members remain critical to promoting the APC’s ideals and sustaining its dominance at the local level.

In his remarks, the State Secretary of the APC, Hon. Fidelis Francis, commended the peaceful conduct of the congress, describing it as one of the most orderly in the history of Zing. He attributed the smooth exercise to the maturity and commitment of party members.

Francis also applauded Agbu Kefas for his leadership and support, which he said contributed significantly to the hitch-free conduct of party congresses across the state.

Similarly, the Chairman of the Zing Local Government Stakeholders Forum, Mr. Linus Waziri, praised party faithful for the unity and sense of responsibility displayed throughout the exercise.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected APC Chairman for Zing Local Government Area, Hon. Udoji Teyu, pledged to uphold internal democracy and ensure inclusiveness in the affairs of the party. 
He expressed gratitude to stakeholders and members for the confidence reposed in him and his team, assuring them of their commitment to advancing the party’s interests in the area.
On her part the Chairman CSDA Governing Board Hon Leah Olusuyi Commended the peaceful conduct of the Congress and wished those elected well.

She encouraged more women inclusion in governance to ensure equality in the society.

Our Correspondent reports that all officials were returned through a concensus by the party members at the Congress.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area.
