APPOINTMENT: NSPAN Hails Gimba Joseph’s Appointment to Taraba Disability Commission, Praises Gov Kefas’ Inclusive Drive.

In a congratulatory message issued by its Directorate of Stakeholders Engagement and Media, NSPAN said Dr. Gimba Joseph’s selection reflects his more than two decades of dedicated service toward advancing social protection and community development initiatives in Taraba State. The network noted that his professional record and advocacy work make him well suited for the new responsibility.
The group said the appointment would further position him to contribute meaningfully to disability rights, programme coordination, and inclusive policy implementation across the state. It expressed confidence that his presence on the commission would help drive reforms and strengthen rights-based inclusion measures for persons living with disabilities.
NSPAN also commended the Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, for what it described as visionary and inclusive leadership. According to the statement, the choice of Dr. Gimba Joseph demonstrates the administration’s commitment to merit, competence, and effective delivery of disability-focused policies.
