APC: Bonzena, Zing Council Boss Hail Peaceful APC Ward Congress in Yakoko.

The Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. John Kizito Bonzena, has commended members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yakoko Ward, Zing Local Government Area, for conducting a peaceful and orderly ward congress.

The exercise, held at Yakoko Primary School, witnessed a large turnout of party faithful who participated in the selection of ward executives through a consensus arrangement.

Addressing members shortly after the congress, Bonzena praised the maturity and unity displayed by party members, describing the peaceful process as a demonstration of commitment to internal democracy and party cohesion.

He congratulated the newly elected ward officials and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by working assiduously to strengthen the party’s structures at the grassroots.

The Speaker expressed optimism about the party’s prospects in the state, maintaining that the APC remains firmly rooted and focused on delivering greater development for the people.

In his remarks, the APC Chairman of Yakoko Ward, Moses Cletus Daze, appreciated members for the trust placed in the new executives and pledged to work collectively with stakeholders to move the party forward in the ward.

Party supporters who spoke with journalists lauded the peaceful atmosphere that characterized the congress and reaffirmed their loyalty to the party. All ward executives in Yakoko Ward emerged through consensus.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Zing Local Government Council, Hon. Evangelist Davoro Titus Gwandis, JP, also applauded the peaceful conduct of the APC ward congresses across the area, describing it as a sign of unity and understanding among party faithful.

Speaking to reporters, Gwandis congratulated the elected ward executives and charged them to work tirelessly for the progress of the party at the grassroots.

At Bubong Ward, the Council Chairman commended the massive turnout of members who witnessed the exercise. The APC Chairman of Bubong Ward, Hon. Charles Christopher, thanked party members for the confidence reposed in him and solicited continued support to enable the new leadership succeed.

Similarly, the APC Chairman of Zing A Ward, Timothy Yakubu Laapo, pledged to work hard towards ensuring the party’s success in the 2027 general elections.
