Pastor Tikwe Urges Christians to Cultivate a Heart of Gratitude.

The Resident Pastor of Christ Glorious Army Church, Mile Six, Jalingo, Pastor Mark Tikwe, has urged Christians to remain thankful to God at all times, regardless of their circumstances.

Delivering a Sunday sermon titled “Be Thankful,” drawn from Psalms 92:1–2, Pastor Tikwe emphasized that gratitude is a key virtue every believer must cultivate.

He lamented that many people have become so accustomed to God’s goodness that they often fail to appreciate His faithfulness in their lives. According to him, “A heart of gratitude to God is the recipe for the release of greater blessings.”

Pastor Tikwe admonished Christians to imbibe the spirit of thankfulness, noting that those who appreciate God will never lack. He further listed the benefits of being thankful, which include turning insufficiency into abundance and transforming hopeless situations in the lives of believers.

Conversely, he warned that unthankfulness exposes individuals to enemy attacks, lack, and demotion.

The service also featured special thanksgiving by members of the church in appreciation of God’s blessings.

RELIGION: UMC-N Bishop Ande Emmanuel decries continual tensions,calls on Gov.Agbu to waive into the matter.

The Resident Bishop United Methodist Church Nigeria Episcopal Area, Ande Emmanuel has decried continual tensions impacting the church in Nigeria. INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week.
