It was a joyous atmosphere at the Redeemed People’s Mission Headquarters, Jalingo, as friends, family members, and colleagues gathered to celebrate Dr. Clifford Yubsih Menchak in a special thanksgiving service appreciating God’s faithfulness in his life.
Speaking during the service, Deacon David Stephen emphasized the importance of gratitude, noting that being thankful to God opens doors of blessings. Drawing his message from Luke Chapter 17, he recalled the story of the ten lepers healed by Jesus Christ, pointing out that only one returned to express gratitude.
He urged believers to cultivate a heart of thanksgiving, warning that those who take God for granted often struggle to recognize His goodness.
In his testimony, Dr. Menchak, a lecturer at Taraba State University, expressed deep appreciation to God for His mercies and protection over the years.
He recounted how God miraculously spared his life from a fatal auto crash on his way to Jos in 2024, where he sustained a neck injury but later recovered fully.
The academic also thanked God for guiding him through his educational journey, which culminated in the successful completion of his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
He described his achievement as a reflection of divine faithfulness, considering his humble beginnings.
Dr. Menchak expressed profound gratitude to all who joined him in the thanksgiving service, praying that God’s blessings continue to abound in their lives.
