Special Adviser to the Taraba State Governor on Christian Religion Matters, Very Rev. Fr. Sunday Patrick Muke, has called on residents of the state to live as faithful stewards of God’s gifts by embracing readiness, integrity, and compassion in their daily lives.
In a message reflecting on Sunday’s Gospel reading from Luke 12:32–48, Fr. Muke reminded citizens that “much is required from those given much,” urging them to store up treasures through acts of kindness, justice, and service.
He emphasized that true preparedness is not just spiritual watchfulness but also active contribution to the growth of a peaceful and just society. “Let us build a society of peace, justice, and godliness,” he said, stressing that every individual has a role to play in shaping the moral and social fabric of the state.
Fr. Muke prayed that the Lord would find Tarabans faithful at His coming and that His blessings would remain with the state always.
The message, which blends scriptural reflection with civic responsibility, comes at a time when community leaders are encouraging citizens to uphold values that foster unity and progress in Taraba State.
