Taraba State Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change, Hajiya Aishat A. Barde, has praised Governor Agbu Kefas for what she described as his visionary, compassionate, and inclusive leadership, pledging her unwavering support for his development agenda.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Barde said serving under Governor Kefas was “an honour,” noting that his focus on unity, economic growth, and elevating Taraba’s status in West Africa continues to inspire her dedication to public service.
She also appealed to residents to join in praying for the speedy recovery of Deputy Governor Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali, whom she described as “a fatherly figure” known for his humility, kindness, and wisdom.
“Taraba’s strength lies in our unity. Let us stand together beyond politics, religion, and culture, and keep faith that our best days are ahead,” she urged, expressing optimism that with God’s guidance and the resilience of the people, the state will emerge stronger and more prosperous.
Barde concluded with prayers for the governor’s continued success, the deputy governor’s healing, and divine blessings upon Taraba State.
