WATER: Taraba State Water and Sewerage Corporation TAWASCO embarks on rationing of water supply to Jalingo customers as blackouts lingered.

Taraba State Water and Sewerage Corporation TAWASCO says it will ration the water supply in the Jalingo metropolis being enjoyed by its customers.

The statement by the Managing Director of the corporation Engr. Buba Musa Siam reveals that the development followed the blackouts in the North East region as a result of the vandalisation of the Transmission Company of Nigeria TCN mast.

It states that the Taraba State Government is making efforts to provide the necessary support to improve the situation.

It regrets any inconvenience the development may have caused its customers within the Jalingo metropolis.

    I'm Mr Solomon Abraham Njaban from Dinyavoh Area Behind Patient events Center mail 6 byepass Jalingo Taraba State, Pls Sir/Ma We Registered for Water and Tap it to our Houses since November 2023 from Mail 6 Business Unit, Since Then No Water has been given Or Supply to Us , it's That we are not Qualified to Tap water or We are not Benefits of The TAWASCO Program Please, we Need Help from the Management of This Great Agency... INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State.  A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week. RELIGION: UMC-N Bishop Ande Emmanuel decries continual tensions,calls on Gov.Agbu to waive into the matter.

The Resident Bishop United Methodist Church Nigeria  Episcopal Area, Ande Emmanuel has decried continual tensions impacting the church in Nigeria. The Bishop, in a Press briefing in Jalingo, condemned any act of violence or disrespect to the church, referencing the attack at Banyan Theological Seminary in the Bambur Community of Karim Lamido Local government area.
